The following is the "wish list" from Trinity Pines
- Overhead
projector - $300
- 20 pairs of
snowshoes - $50/each
We
have developed a prototype “hang on the wall” bunk beds for the
cottages. This will allow us to move existing bunk beds into the new Lodges for campers. Each wall mount costs $125. A prototype is on display at
Trinity Pines. If you are interested in helping us build these new wall
mount bunks, please contact Mike Crevelt.
LODGE
#2 UPDATE: (Contact Manager Mike Crevelt)
We
are looking for volunteers to help with hanging sheetrock and doing taping
and texture. In the spring of 2008 we will be ready for painting the
exterior and interior of Lodge #2.
We
want to build a wooden deck at the Manager’s home on the back of their
house. If you would like to help coordinate this project contact Mike
Crevelt.
Plans
are to continue work in Elk Valley on the amphitheater in the spring of
2008. The foundation was laid for the stage area in the fall of 2007. Baker
City Nazarene Church and laymen Byron Henry are coordinating this activity.
The plans are to create an amphitheater that will seat 330 people.
KEEP
YOUR EYES OPEN: We are always looking for leads on golf carts or four
wheelers. Plus riding lawn mowers (large size like those used by schools,
parks, cemeteries, etc).
We
are also looking for a wood chipper that can be used to chip wood products
when we are clearing forest areas for future projects and developments.
COTTAGE
PAINTING: Our goal will be to paint the interior of one cottage each year
starting in the spring of 2008. We want to maintain a high
quality in the facilities we have for our guests.
