Dr. Todd Bowman Dr. Todd Bowman is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Counseling at Indiana Wesleyan University in addition to working as the Director of the SATP Institute. Dr. Bowman received his doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Oklahoma State University in 2008 and has been practicing professional counseling since that time. During his time at OSU, he served as the Director of the Nazarene Student Center. Dr. Bowman developed the SATP program in 2011 at MidAmerica Nazarene University and it remains the only Higher Learning Commission accredited and United States Department of Education recognized sexual addiction training for mental health professionals. He continues to write and present locally, nationally and internationally on topics related to sexual health and sexually addictive behavior, including the publication of his first book, Angry Birds & Killer Bees: Talking to Your Kids About Sex (Beacon Hill Press, 2013). In addition to his specialized work assessing, diagnosing, and treating adults and adolescents with sexual addictions and attachment related concerns, Dr. Bowman has specialized training is in stress management, anxiety reduction, and other affective regulation methods, as well as psychological assessment. He operates from a relational-existential perspective in his work, and regularly incorporates attachment, developmental, and neurobiological perspectives as appropriate.
Rev. John Comstock Rev. John Comstock has served most of his ministry in support roles for the local church. While working for the Mapping Center for Evangelism and Church Growth, he helped churches utilize technology to build relationships. While working for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, he supported local churches in their evangelistic efforts. He has been working with the Global Ministry Center for eleven years in SDMI and coordinates the resources for The Discipleship Place. He is a graduate of Mid America Nazarene University. He is married with three children and lives in Gardner, Kansas.
