Rhonda was born and raised in Emmett, Idaho. After graduating from NNC(U) and Nazarene Theological Seminary, she married Errol Carrim in 1990 and moved to his home country of Trinidad... yes, in the Caribbean! They served as faculty and administrators at Caribbean Nazarene Theological College for 10 years, and pastored for over 5 years. Rhonda completed her Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation from Asbury Theological Seminary, in Wilmore, KY, and did further doctoral work at Nazarene Theological College in Manchester, England, where she also pastored. Dr. Carrim has been teaching at NNU full-time since 2004. Rhonda and her husband have co-taught an adult Sunday school class at Nampa First since 2005. Their daughter, Kimberly, was born in Manchester and will be starting high school this fall. The Carrims enjoy camping and fishing as a family.
