What is Trinity Pines doing to prevent the spread of COVID-19?
Trinity Pines is utilizing cleaning products designated to kill viruses including COVID-19.
Common areas will be sanitized daily in addition to regular cleanings. Several hand sanitization stations will be located throughout the camp. Hand-washing instructions will be posted in every bathroom on the property.
Contracts/Reservations
It will be very important that you contact Tammy Angier, Office Manager three days prior to your arrival for any last minute updates or instructions for use of the camp. Please do not plan to arrive on site at the camp until your designated time since preparation procedures will be underway in anticipation of your arrival.
Reservations for groups may be limited based up on the following Capacity Policy:
The Executive Committee of the Camps Board of the Intermountain District Church of the Nazarene, Inc. (herein “the Executive Committee”) does hereby enact the following policy, which shall be referred to as the “Capacity Policy.”
In considering, negotiating or entering into a contract with any third party, whether individual, group or otherwise, Trinity Pines may consider issues of capacity. For purposes of this Capacity Policy, and without limitation, capacity issues may include but are not limited to housing capacity, feeding capacity, staff issues, safety concerns, local, state or national medical issues, weather, or any other factor of any kind or nature. Capacity issues may be used by Trinity Pines as a factor in considering whether to enter into any such contract. Capacity issues may be applied in general to all camps, or as to individual camps.
The Executive Committee is hereby granted the authority to consider and make any decisions regarding capacity issues relative to the Capacity Policy, and may delegate the responsibility for creation or enforcement of the Capacity Policy to any member or members of the Executive Committee.
Food Service
The dining hall will be reconfigured to encourage social distancing. We encourage guests to eat as many meals as possible outside either on the deck or patio as weather and conditions permit.
Trinity Pines staff will serve food from the serving line or a “grab and go” sack at the door. Kitchen equipment and surfaces will be sanitized multiple times each day.
Tables and chairs will be sanitized by staff after each meal.
Facility Use
Please pay special attention to the areas designated for your use during your visit. The first floor conference room has been designed for recreation and social activities.
The third floor conference room has been designated for indoor worship based upon weather. The requested number of chairs will be made available to you but arrangement will be your responsibility to satisfy your comfort level in response to social distancing. Chapel and group activities should be held outdoors as much as possible. The amphitheater and worship tent is available for your use.
Restrooms may be limited in availability at certain times based upon cleaning procedures and size of the group. Please follow all posted hand-washing information. Guests should wash their hands or sanitize when moving between activities or areas of the camp.
The camp store will be available during your visit. Please arrange a time with the camp manager to visit the camp store and limit activities while inside the store area.
Guests will are encouraged to sleep head-to-toe in all lodging locations.
Our Goal is to Maintain a COVID-19 Free Facility
You are free to wear masks for personal protection. Masks are strongly encouraged when in groups for meetings, social activities and when securing your food.
Our staff will be continually monitored for symptoms of COVID-19. The staff has been thoroughly trained on health and safety policies and procedures.
If a guest develops a fever or other concerning symptoms we advise that you seek professional medical attention and testing at the Cascade Medical Clinic. The identified guest’s adult leader will be notified and is expected to make arrangements for quarantine or to have the guest moved from the camp as quickly as possible.
We encourage social distancing (two arm’s length) during your camp visit. We are asking each guest to take personal responsibility for your decisions and actions during your visit to Trinity Pines.
