Join us for the Men's Retreat! A time to get away from the day-to-day routing and be refreshed and renewed. You will be able to catch up with old friends and meet new ones, fellowship through worship and the hearing the Word of God, and listen for God to speak to you!

The theme this year is "The Power of Influence."

Our ​speaker will be Scott Shaw. Scott Shaw wants to be known as a passionate servant of Christ. His hope is that this is reflected in his relationship with his wife, Vicki, the interaction he has with his two children and their spouses, and the love he shows to his grandchildren. A graduate from NNU and NTS, he served 42 years as a minister in the Church of the Nazarene, the last 10 of those as District Superintendent for the Intermountain District. Now retired, he serves in his local church, makes plans to travel with Vicki to see their grandkids, mutters at the current state of college and pro sports, and tests his sanctification on the golf course. His desire is to be constantly aware of the Presence of Jesus and live a life of joy.

Worship Leader

​We will be led in worship by John Shaul. Pastor John Shaul is passionate about leadership development and helping people discover their potential. He also enjoys helping others see how God has uniquely created them. John, a native Idahoan, has spent 25 years serving churches in the Intermountain District. His ministry experience spans a wide range of areas, from youth and young adult programs to technology, worship music, and preaching. He and his wife, Sarah, make their home in Nampa where he is on staff as the Pastor of Discipleship & Outreach at Karcher Church. He enjoys many styles of music, a good cup of coffee, and time spent with friends and family.
