Pastor Lauri Ferring was raised on a farm in Idaho and then moved to Northwest Montana as a teen and went to Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho, but didn't complete her education then. She then moved to Yakima, where she lived for nine years before moving to Colorado Springs to attend the Nazarene Bible College. She received a BA in Ministry and was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene. She also worked as a Children's Pastor for over 25 years until she felt God calling her to change to lead pastor. She was called as lead pastor at Elgin Harvesters in March 2016.
Danene Vaughn serves part-time at Lakeview Church of the Nazarene as Staff and Leadership Development pastor. She attended Mid-America Nazarene University and is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. Danene has been involved in Christian ministry all of her adult life. She has four children and three grandchildren who bring great joy to her life. Her favorite pastime is a one-on-one lunch or coffee with ANYONE. Danene has been involved in Christian ministry all of her adult life and is grateful for God’s compassion and love.
Rev. Gretchin Rotz is currently the Community Connections pastor at Lakeview Church of the Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho. Gretchin graduated from NNU with a Religion emphasis, married, graduated from Nazarene Theological Seminary with her M.Div. and was a Senior Pastor in Alameda, California for 5 years. Gretchin became an ordained elder in 2002. While in California she had her daughter Sadie (who is currently a Sophomore at NNU). After moving back to Nampa in 2005, she had her son Forrest and started working at Lakeview. Her roles at Lakeview have changed over the almost 20 years she’s been there. Though she misses preaching, her heartbeat is working in Compassionate Ministry. Over these last few years Gretchin has moved back into full-time ministry overseeing a Clothing Ministry, Homeless Ministry, Jail Ministry, Transition House Bible Study and more at Lakeview.
Lindsay Vernor was called to ministry as a teenager, but her journey was anything but ordinary. She married to her high school sweetheart as a Sophomore at NNU and then graduated as a Philosophy and Religion major. After working for a few years as a medical receptionist, Lindsay took an administrative role at a law office and started a family. Only when the events of the Great Recession of 2007 caught up and changed her path in 2012, did she return to the path of ministry. Twelve years later, Lindsay is ordained and the lead pastor at Real Life Community Church in Nampa, Idaho. She completed her Master of Divinity degree in the Spring of 2024. Lindsay and her husband of 24 years have two kids, a son in high school and a daughter in college. She is a self-described mystical existentialist theologian and always loves to look at things from new perspectives.
