Important Information for
Intermountain District Summer Camps
OUR PHILOSOPHY:
Trinity Pines is a Christian camp. Chapel services and Christian education will be an important part of the camp experience. Trinity Pines is owned and operated by the Intermountain District Church of the Nazarene.
DRESS CODE:
All persons on the campground are expected to be dressed in attire that is appropriate for the activity in which they are involved. Trinity Pines staff and directors have the responsibility and authority to determine the meaning of “appropriate” dress at camp. Footwear that provides adequate protection is required at all times.
PROHIBITED ITEMS:
Cell phones and other electronic devices/games are prohibited at camp. No alcoholic beverages, controlled substances, tobacco products, fireworks, pornographic materials, or weapons (any instrument which could be used to injure another person or perceived to be dangerous) are to be brought on the campground. Any violation of the above-mentioned items by a camper or camping group is subject to confiscation by camp management. The proper authorities will be notified and violators may forfeit their right to participate in our program. Fines will be assessed to individuals vandalizing camp property or buildings in any way.
AGE GROUPS:
Trinity Pines Camp age groups are determined by the grade the camper will be entering this fall.
MEDICATIONS:
All medications sent to camp will be collected by medical personnel at the time of registration. All medications MUST be in the original container with dosage information specified and camper’s name on the container. Please do not send “just in case” medicine. The medical personnel can provide over-the-counter medication if needed.
POLICY ON VISITORS:
Visits by parents or others are not encouraged while camp is in progress, except in case of an emergency.
COMMUNICABLE DISEASES:
Campers will not be allowed to participate in camp if they have a visible communicable disease. In the event that camp medical personnel determine the presence of a communicable disease, the camper(s) will be isolated and the parent/guardian will be notified to decide on a course of action.
REGISTRATION:
Registrations will be recorded on a first-come, first-served basis. A deposit of $50 is required with registration. The deposit is NOT refundable, but may be transferred to another camper. No registration will be accepted after the second deadline indicated on the registration form to ensure appropriate staffing, food, and supplies for campers who have met the deadline. Trinity Pines reserves the right to refuse any registration. Registration balance must be paid in full by the postmarked deadline date for each camp.
GETTING THERE:
Transportation is the responsibility of each camper. Many local Nazarene churches also provide vans and buses to and from camp for a nominal fee. Contact a local Nazarene church for specific information.
REFUNDS:
Refunds of registration fees (minus the $50 deposit) may be made for campers unable to attend. A signed letter stating the explanation for cancellation must be filed with the Camp Executive Director. Requests will be reviewed and, if approved, a refund will be issued.
COMING AND GOING:
Registration begins at 10:00AM on the first day of camp and closes at 11:30AM. On the final day, camper pick-up begins at 10:30AM. By 11:00AM the campground should be clear. Please note: times may vary for Genesis Camps.
